Pamela Geller Goes Way Back With John Bolton
An anti-Muslim activist says she has had “positive” interactions in recent years with the president’s new national security adviser, John Bolton, Business Insider reported.
Pamela Geller called Bolton “a fierce patriot who will do what it takes to defend the nation, and who has a clear and accurate understanding of the nature and magnitude of the threats facing us.” He “knows what he is doing,” she added.
Bolton and Geller’s acquaintanceship reportedly began in 2005, when the activist celebrated Bolton’s appointment as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. The two were known to have bonded over their views of the U.N. being anti-Semitic.
Bolton appeared in Geller’s video blog and radio show four times between 2006 and 2009 and wrote a foreward to her 2010 book, “The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America.”
The activist has been known for claims including there is no such thing as “moderate Islam” and argues “there really is no difference between Muslims and radical Muslims.” The Southern Poverty Law Center has condemned her for “hate speech.”
In 2013, Geller was banned from the United Kingdom because she would “not be conducive to the public good.”
Geller’s four daughters, the Instagram celebrity Oshry sisters, made significant efforts for years to conceal their connection to their mother before the news broke in February.
