FBI Raids Home Of White Supremacist Who Claimed He Trained Parkland Shooter

The FBI raided a home associated with a white supremacist who had claimed that the shooter behind last month’s school shooting in Parkland, Florida trained with his group before saying that his previous statement was a lie.

Jordan Jereb was handcuffed and led away from his mother’s home in Tallahassee while federal, state and local law enforcement agents removed several bags of evidence, including what appeared to be a computer, the Tallahassee Democrat reported Thursday.

Jereb leads the group Republic of Florida, which seeks to create a “white ethnostate.” He told the Anti-Defamation League soon after the shooting last month that alleged shooter Nikolas Cruz had participated in their training exercises.

“I’ve been in the same room as the guy but I don’t know the guy,” Jereb also told the Daily Beast.

But Jereb later claimed that it was a “misunderstanding because we have MULTIPLE people named Nicholas in ROF.” The local sheriff’s office in Parkland said last month that they had no evidence that Cruz was tied to the Republic of Florida.
