WATCH: Jared Kushner Is Drunk, Crying And Shirtless — On ‘SNL’
This week’s episode of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” saw a new take on presidential advisor/son-in-law Jared Kushner — by way of another hit show for the network, “This Is Us.”
In the taped sketch, actors play members of the Trump administration as characters from the heartwarming tearjerker. Kushner, played by Pete Davidson, is portrayed as getting drunk on Manischewitz and asking the United Arab Emirates for $800 million (a possible reference to reports that the U.A.E., as well as other countries like Israel, tried to take advantage of his struggling real estate business and his naivete to help shape United States foreign policy in their favor).
In a later scene, “Kushner” and other members of the Trump administration, like spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, are shown crying and bemoaning their fates.
In another sketch, actors portraying Eric Trump and Donald Trump, Jr. claim that their father has a special term for the media: “Goddamn Jews.”
