Michael Cohen Lands On Mueller’s Subpoena ‘Hit List’

The list of grand jury subpoenas requested by special counsel Robert Mueller reportedly includes 10 Trump former and current advisers.

According to the Axios report, Mueller is asking to obtain all communications of close Trump confidants, including his lawyer Michael Cohen. The subpoenas are aimed at receiving communications Cohen and other Trump advisers have held since November 2015.

Cohen, a private New York attorney, was in the headlines recently after it was reported he paid a porn star, known by her stage name Stormy Daniels, $130,000 in hush money in order to prevent her from disclosing information about an affair she allegedly had with Trump, months after the birth of his youngest son, Baron.

Trump advisers mentioned on Mueller’s so-called “hit list” include, among others, Steve Bannon, Carter Page, Hope Hicks and Paul Manafort.
