Barbra Streisand: ‘Women Are More Powerful Than Men’
Sound the battle drums, ladies, Barbra Streisand has just given away the ending of “Feminism: The Movie.”
Female supremacy.
In an interview with Variety, the superstar got real honest with her male interviewer.
“I have a line in one of my journals,” she said. “It’s about how we are giving you the benefit of the doubt that we are equal. I think women are more powerful than men.”
Incredible. Only a 75-year-old woman with over five decades of experience in a male dominated industry could deliver such a stark warning to patriarchal rule so seamlessly. Take us in, Barbra, teach us your ways.
When she’s not actively plotting for the downfall of the patriarchy, Streisand enjoys afternoon tea and cloning her dogs. The actress/director/Grammy award-winning songwriter took the cells from Samantha, her dog who sadly passed in 2017, to create Miss Violet and Miss Scarlett.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, Samantha to Miss Violet and Miss Scarlett.
