Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin Flattered By Bond Villain Comparisons

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, a multimillionaire former banker and Hollywood producer, said that he enjoyed being compared to a James Bond bad guy after an image of him and his wife went viral last week.
Mnuchin and wife Louise Linton posed with new dollar bills bearing his signature at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing last week, creating an indelible image that led to much online mockery.
“I guess I should take that as a compliment, that I look like a villain in a great, successful James Bond movie,” Mnuchin told Fox News Sunday. “I was very excited of having my signature on the money.”
Mnuchin also said that he didn’t realize that the photographs being taken would be released publicly.
Mnuchin and Linton were criticized earlier this year for using a government plane to fly and see the solar eclipse. Linton then received more flak for arguing with a commenter on Instagram over whether her trip was appropriate.
