Sam Nunberg Calls Jared Kushner ‘Worst Political Adviser’ Ever
Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg has branded presidential advisor/son-in-law Jared Kushner as “the worst political adviser in the White House in modern history,” Vanity Fair reported.
“I’m only saying publicly what everyone says behind the scenes at Fox News, in conservative media, and the Senate and Congress,” Nunberg added.
Kushner had lobbied President Trump to fire National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and FBI Director James Comey, two actions that led to the appointment of Robert Mueller as a special prosecutor investigation Russian interference in the 2016 election.
According to Vanity Fair, Trump has reportedly complained in phone calls to former official (and current unofficial) advisors Steve Bannon and Roger Stone that Kushner’s bad advice had led him to their current predicament.
Nunberg also predicted that Mueller “is going to go over every financial dealing of Jared Kushner and the Trump Organization. Trump is at 33 percent in Gallup. You can’t go any lower. He’s f—-ed.”
Nunberg, one of Trump’s first political consultants, was hired and fired by Trump three separate times — the last ouster came after a series of racist Facebook posts. Trump later sued him for $10 million for allegedly violating a confidentiality agreement, though the two later settled.
