Harvey Weinstein Brushes Off Scandal Reports As Movie Material

Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein dismissed reports of a sexual harassment scandal — even as he hired powerhouse lawyers in anticipation of upcoming bombshell exposes.

“The story sounds so good, I want to buy the movie rights,” scoffed the 65-year-old producer to the Hollywood Reporter.

Despite the bravado, Weinstein has hired Lisa Bloom, who specializes in celebrity sexual harassment cases, and Charles Harder, according to the paper.

While it’s unclear the material of the articles, Variety reported that they will detail “sexual allegations and improper workplace behavior.”

Journalists have been calling Weinstein employees dating back two decades in search of dirt. The stories are said to be expected to run soon in the New York Times and the New Yorker magazine.
