Trump Won’t Even Look At Gary Cohn After Criticism Over Charlottesville

President Trump is displeased with economic adviser Gary Cohn – reportedly refusing to make eye contact with the ex-Goldman Sachs exec and West Wing policy wonk.

According to a report in The New York Times, the president was so infuriated by Cohn’s rebuke of Trump over comments following the Charlottesville crisis that he will not acknowledge Cohn in meetings.

Cohn, who lead Trump’s economic advisory council, has been on the outs since declaring the administration could “do better” in confronting white supremacism.

There have been rumors that he could resign from his White House post – and whispers that he will not be nominated to be the next Federal Reserve chairman due to his chastening of Trump.

Cohn was formerly the second in command at Goldman, and was appointed by Trump to spearhead a tax reform effort and push economic growth.
