Michael Cohen ‘Vehemently’ Denies Involvement In Trump Russia Scandal

Michael Cohen, President Trump’s long-time attorney and cable television attack dog, hit back at allegations linking him to a Russian effort to tip last November’s election, releasing a point-by-point response to the accusations leveled against him.
“We have not uncovered a single document that would in any way corroborate the dossier’s allegations regarding Mr. Cohen, nor do we believe that any such document exists,” Stephanie Taylor, a lawyer for Cohen, told The New York Times.
“Mr. Cohen vehemently denies the claims made in the dossier about him, which are false and remain wholly unsubstantiated,” she added, referring to a document from British spy-for-hire Christopher Steele which claimed that Cohen traveled to Prague to meet with a Russian agent.
Cohen released his denials to the House Intelligence Committee, along with proof that he had never traveled to the Czech Republic. He also disputed that Trump or his campaign had an improper relationship with Russia.
Cohen’s efforts to defend himself touched off a new round of speculation about Trump and Russia on Wednesday, with news that a Trump associate, Felix Sater, bragged about getting Russian support for Trump in exchange for a Trump building project in Russia.
