Pig’s Head In Swastika Bag Left At Australia Muslim School

Police are investigating after a bag marked with a swastika containing a pig’s head was found outside an Islamic school in Australia this week, according to the Brisbane Times.

Security footage shows two youths dropping the bag out of the window of a blue car outside The Islamic College of Brisbane at about 11:23 p.m. on Tuesday, according to The New York Times. School principal Dr. Ray Barrett said the security video is being analyzed to determine the car’s license plate, according to The New York Times.

Police were called after a groundskeeper and a teacher discovered the bag on Wednesday.

Ali Kadri, the school’s acting chairman, posted on Facebook and blamed Islamophobic radicals.

“Right-wing extremists including some politicians and shock jocks who demonize islamic schools are responsible for this,” Kadri wrote.

Activist and former Islamic College of Brisbane student Yassmin Abdel-Magied asked people to support the school on Twitter.

“I’m so so sorry we have to live in a world where kids can’t go to school in Australia without being shamed and threatened,” she wrote on Twitter.
