Drake And His Dad Parody ‘Most Interesting Man In The World’ In New Whiskey Ad
Good original ideas are hard to come by. So hard, in fact, that some advertising companies have just stopped trying altogether.
Like the ad company behind Drake and his papa’s new whiskey ad for Virgina Black Whiskey. In the ad series, Drake plays “The Realest Dude Ever,” a play on the character of “The Most Interesting Man in the World,” made iconic by Jonathan Goldsmith (who is a nice Jewish boy from the Bronx).
Unlike “The Most Interesting Man,” “The Realest Dude” goes dutch on the first date and wears a do-rag under his do-rag. Oh, and he drinks whiskey instead of Dos Equus.
But what if I want a whiskey with a side of “The Most Interesting Man”? What if I want “The Realest Dude” with a side of Dos Equus?
TOO BAD, SOME COMBOS JUST DON’T EXIST.
Drake shared two of the spots on his Instagram page. You can watch them below.
