Milo Yiannopoulos Sues Publisher Over Canceled Book Deal

Four months after it canceled Milo Yiannopoulos’s book deal, Simon & Schuster is getting sued by the right-wing provocateur, who charged the publisher with breach of contract.

“I’m really pissed at them – which is why I’m suing them,” Yiannopoulos said, according to the Guardian. Simon & Schuster paid the ex-Breitbart editor a $250,000 advance for the book but then pulled out, following a February controversy over Yiannopoulos’s prior defense of pedophilia. Simon & Schuster says that it has not yet been served with papers, but described the suit as “meritless.”

Yiannopoulos’s self-published memoir “Dangerous” has shot up to the top of the Amazon sales list, despite having been widely panned. Yiannopoulos has, in recent months, been resurfacing after the February contretemps, which led to his resignation from Breitbart, the loss of his book deal and his being disinvited to speak at the Conservative Political Action Committee.
