Ivanka Trump Claims She ‘Tries To Stay Out Of Politics’

Ivanka Trump has an office in the West Wing, but the first daughter said that she tries to keep her nose out of politics, which she says is her father’s specialty.

“I try to stay out of politics. His political instincts are phenomenal. He did something that no one could have imagined he’d be able to accomplish,” she told Fox News in a Monday morning interview.

“I feel blessed just being part of the ride from day one and before. But he did something pretty remarkable. But I don’t profess to be a political savant,” she added.

Ivanka Trump’s pronouncement comes as a surprise, given her role in President Trump’s White House, where she is working as an unpaid special assistant.

She has also figured along with husband Jared Kushner as a key player in the administration’s foreign policy, representing the United States in a recent meeting with German premier Angela Merkel.
