German Neo-Nazis Flock To Spain To Party And Display Their Swastika Tattoos

German neo-Nazis are traveling abroad to party in Spain, openly displaying tattoos and flags that are outlawed in Germany, the Daily Mail reported Tuesday.
Following the fall of the Third Reich, Germany outlawed displays of the swastika, Hitler salutes and all other Nazi symbolism. Offenders can receive jail time.
However, the British paper reported, a group of people bearing swastika tattoos and Schutzstaffel flags visited bars on the Spanish island of Majorca in recent weeks.
“During a gig last Friday by German singer Mia Julia at Bierkoenig [a German pub], Nazi flags were spotted in the crowd while dozens of neo-Nazi thugs shouted ‘Auslander Raus!’ (foreigners out), seemingly forgetting that they were guests in a foreign country,” reporter Gareth Davies wrote.
Police officer Sonia Vivas told the Daily Mail the police are “closely watching” the growing number of German neo-Nazis.
“The Nazi appearance is the most serious violation, the summit of the pyramid of hate crimes,” she said. “We learned about the incident through the media. Now the local police are starting an investigation to file a report for the prosecutor’s office. The police will request that a case be opened.”
