‘Can We Talk’ About Joan Rivers’ Seder Plate? It Could Be Yours For $2.8K.
Who needs an orange when you can have a seder plate once owned by Joan Rivers herself?
I used up my store of Rivers yucks in the headline, so I’ll give you the rest of the story straight.
Auctioneer J. Greenstein & Co. is selling a seder plate that once belonged to the comedian Joan Rivers at a June 13 auction. Bidding starts at $2,800. Rivers died in 2014. A 2016 auction of her jewelry at Christie’s brought in $2 million.
Also on offer in the Greenstein auction are the French identification documents of Ze’ev Jabotinsky, founder of the Revisionist Zionist movement. Bidding for that item starts at $16,000.
