Sean Spicer: No News On Gorka Leaving White House

Sebastian Gorka’s days in the White House may not be over after all — at least if you believe Sean Spicer.
Over the weekend, unnamed senior administration officials told major news outlets that Gorka is on his way out, and ia waiting for another administration position outside the White House.
But on Monday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer would not confirm that the president’s counterterrorism adviser is about to be ousted.
“I have no belief that he is currently leaving the White House at this time,” Spicer responded when asked during the White House daily press briefing, adding that there is “no personnel announcements at this time.”
Spicer’s choice of words, stressing the present tense, could indicate Gorka may be shown the door in the future. But it could also be taken at face value, as a denial of any intention to fire Gorka.
