Silicon Valley’s Most Ridiculous Startup Is Endorsed By Ivanka

Silicon Valley is home to many head-scratching startups, and just as many rich investors looking for ways to extend their lifespans.

Enter Juicero, a startup pitching a $400 WiFi-enabled juice squeezer. The company, which has been praised by Gwyneth Paltrow and backed with around $120 million in venture capital funding from Google and other major companies, also sells users subscriptions to buy pre-prepared fruits and vegetables.

Unfortunately, as a Bloomberg News investigation discovered, you can squeeze the juice for yourself just as well — if not better — just by using your hands.

This, of course, has led to much snark online.

However, it turns out that Paltrow was not the only blonde Jewish lifestyle guru to sing Juicero’s praises:
