WATCH: First Sneak Peek At ‘Dirty Dancing’ Remake
Get ready to have the time of your life…again.
On May 24th, a “Dirty Dancing” reboot is making its way to ABC, complete with a star-studded cast, red hot moves and so much 80’s stretch pants.
Abigail Breslin will be stepping into Jennifer Grey’s dancing shoes as Baby Houseman, Debra Messing as her mother Marjorie, and Nicole Scherzinger as Penny Rivera. Newcomer Colt Prattes will play Johnny Castle.
Bonus points: Andy Blankenbuehler, the choreographer for “Hamilton,” directed the dance scenes.
If you can’t wait a month, there’s a 30 second promo that was released this week. It’s not much, but you get to see the lift, and hear Johnny say: “You can’t put Baby in a corner.” Sigh.
Now, off to listen to “Hungry Eyes” over and over until the premiere.
