Lisa Bloom, Attorney For Harassment Accusers, Celebrates O’Reilly’s Ouster

Lisa Bloom, the women’s rights attorney and advocate, exulted Thursday after Fox News axed top anchor Bill O’Reilly over sexual harassment charges from more than a dozen accusers – including several clients of hers.
“When women speak our truth the old order shatters. We slayed the dragon. Never forget this is what we’re capable of,” she wrote, in a statement posted on Twitter. Prior to O’Reilly’s firing, Bloom had already taken up the cases of three accusers.
Just this week, she revealed new allegations from a black woman who said O’Reilly had called her “hot chocolate” and grunted at her in an attempt to make animal noises.
“Dear Murdochs, I’m not giving up until he’s gone,” she wrote before the news broke, addressing the family that controls Fox News parent company News Corp. “My phone’s ringing off the hook. I’m representing them all for free. Sincerely, Lisa Bloom.”
Bloom and her mother, the well-known attorney Gloria Allred, have gained national attention for representing women with claims of having been wronged by powerful men.
