Huma Abedin Contemplating $2 Million Post-Campaign Book Deal

Huma Abedin, the estranged wife of former Congressman Anthony Weiner and longtime aide to Hillary Clinton has begun meeting with literary agents about a new book project.

The book could show her side of the sexting scandal and also her role in Hillary Clinton’s presidential run, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Abedin might forgo a literary rep and sell directly to a publisher, according to the Hollywodd Reporter. She may seek as $2 million for the book.

“She’s more interesting than her husband. We know who he is. She’s the ongoing mystery,” Princeton University presidential historian Julian Zelizer told the Hollywood Reporter. “But she’ll have to put herself out there. That’s what the publisher will be looking for.”

Immediately before the 2016 election, the FBI revealed that while investigating allegedly illicit text messages between Weiner and an underage girl, it had discovered emails related to Clinton’s private email server.
