Breitbart Writers Ordered To Stop Hating On Jared Kushner
Writers at the conservative news website Breitbart have been ordered to ease up on criticism of Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior White House advisor Jared Kushner, according to a report at Business Insider.
The report comes amid an ongoing struggle for influence between Kushner and Stephen Bannon, another senior Trump advisor who was formerly CEO of Breitbart.
Business Insider reports that, in recent days, the volume of stories critical of Kushner has dropped markedly. Business Insider reports that “senior editors” told employees to stop the anti-Kushner stories, citing two sources.
The New York Times reported last week that members of Kushner’s camp had complained to Trump about Breitbart’s coverage of Kushner.
The order might not have stretched to cover Ivanka Trump, Kushner’s wife, however. On Monday, Breitbart published an article blaming her for the airstrike on Syria.
