Remember the opulent $5.5 million mansion that Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump chose for their Washington D.C. home?

Turns out they didn’t buy the spread in the tony Kalorama neighborhood, just a stone’s throw away from the place where ex-president Barack Obama and his family are living.

The couple is renting it from Andronico Luksic, a Chilean mining mogul who bought the place weeks earlier, the Wall Street Journal reports.

And that’s not all.

Luksic is suing the federal government over the Obama administration’s decision to scrap a lucrative copper mining concession in a Montana wilderness area.

Maybe the mogul can have a chat with his new tenants about the issue — although that might violate ethics rules for the First Daughter and her high-powered hubby.

There was no word on how much the couple might be forking over every month in rent.
