Trump Opens Congress Address With Condemnation of Anti-Semitic Attacks

President Trump opened his speech to a joint session of Congress with a condemnation of attacks against Jews and other minorities.
“Recent threats targeting Jewish Community Centers and vandalism of Jewish cemeteries, as well as last week’s shooting in Kansas City, remind us that while we may be a Nation divided on policies, we are a country that stands united in condemning hate and evil in all its forms,” Trump told a packed chamber which responded in applauds.
Trump did not provide any further details in his speech about the status of the investigation into the anti-Semitic incidents. According to a CNN report earlier Tuesday, investigators believe most of the calls threatening Jewish community centers came from overseas.
