Frisch School Alumni Speak Out Against Jared Kushner On Trump’s Muslim Ban

Jared Kushner’s fellow alumni of New Jersey’s Frisch School say Jewish values spurred them to speak out about the famous graduate and President Trump’s “Muslim ban.”
Nava Friedman organized a petition calling on Kushner to shift course she told the New York Jewish Week.
“Given the values that we learned at Frisch … it felt like these values were being potentially jeopardized by the order,” she said. “It seemed like a critical moment to speak out … and let Mr. Kushner know: Hey you are a member of our community. We have concerns about this.”
Aliza Enker, who also signed the petition, said their status as alumni might get Kushner’s attention.
“There have been lots of online appeals and petitions lately,” she said. “But I felt that on the off chance that this could make its way to Mr. Kushner, I would offer to sign my name.”
Kushner earned his high school diploma at Frisch, a modern Orthodox school located in Paramus, in 1999. Married to the president’s daughter Ivanka, he has emerged as a key player in the new administration.
