Texan High School Seniors Give Nazi Salute

Dozens of seniors at Cypress Ranch High School in Cypress, Texas, flashed a Nazi salute during a class photo shoot, according to a report by local TV station KPRC.

While posing for a class photo, the seniors were asked to strike a “funny” pose. According to one student who spoke with KPRC, 70 students raised their arms in a Nazi salute and shouted, “Heil Hitler” and “Heil Trump.” Images of the incident were posted on social media.

In a letter to parents, the school’s principal called the Nazi salutes a “poor choice.”

“Unfortunately, many of these images have been shared on social media,” the principal wrote. “”We are currently conducting an investigation and those implicated will be punished according to the Student Code of Conduct. We ask that you talk to your students regarding the posting and sharing of negative social media as this perpetuates a false image of Cy Ranch HS.”
