Ben Shapiro Mocks Looks of Women’s March Speakers Madonna and Ashley Judd
Ben Shapiro poked fun at the Women’s March on Washington on his Monday show, ridiculing the pro-choice stance of the participants and skewering in sexist terms the looks of premier speakers.
Responding to Madonna’s speech at the march, in which she ruminated about blowing up the White House, the rightwing pundit called her a “crazy old kook who has more Botox in her than Nancy Pelosi’s entire warehouse of Botox that exists in San Francisco.” He added, “the Botox has infused her brain so she actually can’t think anymore.”
He used a similar line of attack against actress Ashley Judd, who read a raunchy poem called “I Am a Nasty Woman” at the march. “She used to be a decent actress, and very pretty, and now she’s just Ashley Judd,” he said. In the course of his remarks, he derided the pussy hats that many participants wore as obscene.
Shapiro, a former Breitbart editor who’s now editor-in-chief of his own Daily Wire, was part of the Never Trump movement. He continues to criticize Trump, but also directs much of his fire at the left.
