Netanyahu Derides Paris Peace Talks as ‘Yesterday’s World’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu derided the Paris conference at the weekly cabinet meeting, calling it a “futile conference.”
Netanyahu said that the event, which brings together 70 nations, was actually a plot hatched up by the Palestinians — and suggested President-elect Donald Trump would force a new approach.
“These are the death throes of yesterday’s world. Tomorrow will look different,” Netanyahu said.
Israel’s main opposition Zionist Union countered that the Jewish state should have attended to engage in dialogue with an increasingly hostile world.
