Authorities Say Ft. Lauderdale Shooter Said Nothing — ABC News Claimed He Shouted ‘I’m Not Jewish’
Authorities Saturday said the gunman who shot and killed at least five people at Fort Lauderdale International Airport in Florida did not say anything during the rampage.
That rebutted an early report by ABC News that the gunman screamed “I’m not Jewish” as he unleashed the gunfire.

ABC News quoted unnamed witnesses in the report. It did not post any video confirming those reports.
Police have identified the suspect as Esteban Santiago, 26, and say they are interrogating him. Santiago was born in New Jersey and was in possession of a military ID, CBS reports.
