Craig Newmark, the founder of craigslist, credits two of his Hebrew school teachers with inspiring his life’s work. Since creating Newmark Philanthropies in 2015, he has been an avid supporter of organizations that fight antisemitism and disinformation, reinvigorate journalism education, and strengthen independent news outlets, including the Forward.
With hate speech and actions rising to record levels, Craig joins Forward editor-in-chief Jodi Rudoren in a candid conversation about the issues, challenges, and responsibility journalists face in covering and combating antisemitism.
Address: Chabad Jewish Community Center 435 West Main Street Aspen, CO
