Help Get The Forward To South By Southwest
The Forward is nationwide, but it has been underrepresented in one particular area — the South By Southwest! You can help us change that.
The Forward has had its finger on the Jewish pulse for over 120 years and has been part of the digital media landscape for nearly a decade. In the past three years, our ambitious new digital strategy has allowed us to reach a wider, younger audience while still offering the insight for which we are famed. Whether investigative news stories, provocative opinion pieces or insightful culture articles, we have successfully gone from being the weekly Forward to once again become the Jewish Daily Forward.

SXSW, a world renowned conference of professionals in media, film, and music, recognizes the Forward as a cutting edge leader in digital publishing and has invited our CEO & Publisher, Rachel Fishman Feddersen to join one of the panels that’s competing to be heard. As part of “Building a Better Media Company” Rachel will provide insight on innovative digital strategies and audience engagement together with speakers from other companies that have undergone similar digital expansion.
But we can’t get there without your help! The Forward’s panel has to gain more votes in order to attend SXSW. Vote for the Forward today and help us reach new audiences!

I hope you appreciated this article. Before you go, I’d like to ask you to please support the Forward’s award-winning, nonprofit journalism during this critical time.
We’ve set a goal to raise $260,000 by December 31. That’s an ambitious goal, but one that will give us the resources we need to invest in the high quality news, opinion, analysis and cultural coverage that isn’t available anywhere else.
If you feel inspired to make an impact, now is the time to give something back. Join us as a member at your most generous level.
