Arab Woman Killed at Hebron Holy Site After Threatening to Stab Police
An Arab woman was shot and killed by Border Police officers at the entrance to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron after she took out a knife and threatened them.
The woman acted suspiciously early Sunday afternoon as she waited to enter the site holy to both Muslims and Jews. She then took out a knife and screamed at police while walking toward them, according to police.
She was shot and killed at the scene, according to police. No one else was injured in the incident.

Earlier on Sunday, an Israeli man was stabbed when he got out of his car on a road in Gush Etzion in the West Bank.
The man, 58, exited his car after it was hit by rocks thrown by Palestinian demonstrators, according to the Israeli military. He was then approached by a man identified in the Israeli media as Palestinian, who stabbed him several times in the chest and then fled. The victim was taken to Hadassah Medical Center Ein Kerem.
